Want to Enjoy God’s Acceptability and Favor?

It is easy to point at specific persons and think that God “prefers” them to us. This could be due to the grace, gifting, blessings in their lives or the attention people give to them. Apostle Peter in the 34th and 35th verses of the tenth chapter of Acts clearly stated that the “favoritism” we seemingly see is not as a result of God’s actions but our own actions.

Acts 10:34–35: Peter said, “Now I know for certain that God doesn’t show favoritism with people but treats everyone on the same basis. It makes no difference what race of people one belongs to. If they show deep reverence for God, and are committed to doing what’s right, they are acceptable before Him.

From the above, Deep reverence for God and Commitment to doing what’s right at all times are the prerequisites to enjoying God’s acceptability and favor.

Men and women that we’re looking up to all have these two as part of them. You can take a scan of those you know and admire.

Stop being bedridden with ”I wish” and start doing. Don’t let envy get the best of you, pay attention to learning. The same Holy Spirit at work in our Fathers is at work in us, but our willingness and yieldedness will determine if we’ll see the results they’re seeing and much more.

TLT 1
